Helmets for Homies mission is simple:
More access to helmets for folks that climb.
Climbing can be expensive & it’s likely that a helmet will be one of the last pieces of gear on a climber’s wishlist. Helmets for Homies collects funds to purchase noggin protectors for climbers.
100% of all donations will go towards securing helmets for climbers.

The average cost of a climbing helmet is around $50. Donate what you can, it’s all appreciated.

Anyone that climbs & feels that they have a need for a helmet is welcome to join the Helmets for Homies Waitlist. The program organizers will use donations to purchase & send helmets to climbers who have joined the waitlist on a first come first serve ongoing basis as funds are available to do so.

Any climber that feels that they would benefit from a helmet is welcome to join the waitlist.

Unfortunately, joining the waitlist does not guarantee that you will receive a helmet.
You will be contacted via email or text if you are chosen to receive a helmet. There is no definitive timeframe that you should be waiting, as waitlist requests are fulfilled in a first come, first serve ongoing basis.

The waitlist will open and close at program organizer’s discretion to help make the process from application to fulfillment as short as possible.
If the waitlist is currently closed, please keep checking back periodically to see if it has opened again.

I’m just a girl with an idea. If this grows into something bigger than just a few helmets here & there, I’ll work to secure whatever it is to make this all buttoned up, but I’m throwing it out there to see interest level right now.
